Peak Water USA is the official US distributer of Peak Water Pitchers. In order to best serve US based customers they needed a basic landing page site to redirect from the UK site as well as attract new business within the US. This web design project provided a home for the US company serving UK based Peak Water.
Displaying video content above the fold as a backdrop on the homepage set some context for the product. The rest of the videos are each in a color blocked section that walks the user through the use of the product.
Aside from the home page we had two smaller pages. One had a form for wholesale customers, another a list of distributers for retail customers.
This project required a quick turn around and was built through WordPress. Additionally I used Adobe XD and Photoshop. I styled the site using CSS, HTML, and PHP.
The site needed to be very simple. Like most of the web design work I do it needed to be accessible for in-depth users and skimmers alike. The site was designed around the content so that it would quickly highlight the essentials as well as show any important information.
The site was designed to be just as effective on mobile. The majority of the traffic was expected to be users on desktop size devices.
Regardless of the end result creating pages that work well on mobile is essential to good web design.

Web design isn’t what I thought I’d be doing a five years ago but it’s become an enjoyable process with endless opportunity for learning and refinement. Each project is unique and there are countless tools available to make projects unique and effective.
